Seetec expression of interest for National Citizen Service

Seetec is seeking experienced providers of youth-focused programmes for the forthcoming National Citizen Service opportunity.

The National Citizen Service Trust, more commonly referred to as the NCS Trust, is due to commence the re-procurement of the National Citizen Service, the new contracts for which are due to go live in 2019.

The National Citizen service is a programme for 15-17 year olds delivered in three phases:
• ‘Adventure’ (outdoor and/or residential, focused on challenges; an opportunity for an intense period of personal and social development, outside of physical and emotional comfort zones);
• ‘Skills’ (focus on social action and transition to adulthood; enabling young people to connect with, get involved in and impact upon their communities, developing skills and knowledge useful for further social action) and
• ‘Social Action’ (spending 30-60 hours on the design and delivery of a social action project that benefits both young people and the communities they live in)

Seetec intends to submit a PQQ for this opportunity when released, and is looking for experienced providers of inspiring programmes and projects which focus on social mixing, reflection, challenge, increasing responsibility and independence, social action and inspiration. At this stage, they are developing their delivery model, and would be keen to understand more about the provision that you currently offer and how to work together to achieve success.

If this opportunity is of interest, register as a partner on a dedicated portal Once your organisation is registered on POP, navigate to the National Citizen Service opportunity to find out more information. If, after this you wish to respond to the EOI, download it, complete it, save it as your organisation name National Citizen Service PQQ EOI and upload POP before the stated closing date. Please note the deadline is 00:00 on the stated date, so you must submit your EOI by 23:59 on the previous day.
