Manchester City Council has organised e-safety training, which they are offering to youth and play providers, on 15 March, at 9.30-12pm or 1.00pm -3.30pm at Windrush Centre, 70 Alexandra Road, Moss Side, M16 7WD. Delegates only need to attend one of the sessions.
The session will be delivered by Sharon Girling, who is a retired law enforcement officer with extensive experience in developing national enquiries in to child abuse. Sharon was instrumental in the development of CEOP the Child Exploitation on-line protection, which identifies victims and offenders of on line child abuse.
The session will cover topics such as how to keep young people safe online, resources to share with young people and what to do if you have an e-safety concern
