Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) are hosting their second community learning festival from 25 July – 27 July at Brooks Building Hulme.
There are lots of free events for all ages including some that will be particularly interesting for young people on each of the days. These range from performance poetry, comedy and music workshops; sports activities in the sports hall; cookery in the kitchens; messy art activities; bike workshops; and discussions led by local young people on important issues like how working class young people are treated and what mental health issues matter most to young people. There are politics discussions and a chance to join Sufi dancers in a peace dance.
