Manchester Youth Council elections are now open online to nominate young people to represent your school / group council

If you are a young person aged 11-18 who lives in Manchester, you can stand for election to become a Manchester Youth Council Hive Member.

What you need to know:
• Hive Members are the group at the centre of the wider Manchester Youth Council network
• Your job is to make sure young people’s voices are heard, to share opportunities and represent young people’s views locally, regionally and nationally
• You run campaigns and speak with decision makers to help improve services for young people
• You take part in training to develop your skills

All candidates must take part in a mandatory training session. The training session for potential Hive Members will be: Monday 5 March, 1-4pm and 5-8pm at Elliot House, 151 Deansgate, M3 3WD.
