This is the third Manchester Suicide Prevention Forum – organised by Manchester Suicide Prevention Partnership – an open, free event on 1 March, 9.30-12.30 at Friends Meeting House, for anyone living and working in Manchester with an interest in suicide prevention. Forums are a mixture of presentations, updates, discussion and networking.
This half-day session will bring together individuals and organisations interested in preventing suicide and addressing and reducing self-harm in young people. This includes young people at college, university, on apprenticeships, working or out of work.
The Forum will build upon their expertise by sharing information about services in Manchester to support young people to help increase understanding of the key issues relating to self-harm and suicide in young people and identify some next steps to make a difference to mental wellbeing of young people and students.
Tea and coffee will be served at the start of the session.
